The world would be a very different place and hundreds of lives would have more than likely been saved if only the U.S. Supreme Court had not stopped the recount in Florida instead of selecting President Bush. 2000 Supreme Court Judicial coup.

What a huge price in blood and treasure that so many have paid for that decision. Makes me sick to my stomach

Karzai gives in and sets the bar much higher for leaders, and the Supreme Court in our country. What a message…a slap in our leaders and Supreme Courts faces.

They deserve it.

I was just about to post this announcement at Seminal. this is the comment I just sent to the BBC world service radio.(have been able to get lots of comments read on air. Waiting to hear if this one makes it through

“Hats off to Karzai for agreeing to a run off and Senator Kerry for his successful efforts. A Run off what a concept. That was far more than the American voters could get from our leaders during the 2000 Supreme Court Selection of President Bush in 2000.

Hmmmm hopefully U.s. leaders and our Supreme Court are taking notes.”

This is pushing it but the snows are coming. Will the taliban attempt to subvert an ellection as they did last time?
Another question that I have is where in the hell has Holbrooke been throught this process? Seems like Kerry has been carrying the mail for the US.
