Things don’t look so good right now.

OK.

Let’s focus here and make some decisions.

What are we doing wrong….playing for some central coalition that doesn’t and will NEVER exist as in you can’t compromise over abortion, gay rights, women’s rights, the right to vote, the laws of mathematics, carbon dating, probability theory, and the right to worship as you chose….did I miss a few?

Please join in….

Or could it be that we just don’t think that 35% or less of the country can get out the vote and deny us our rights?

I’m following the ME tally here. So far only 18% in. 52-48

My fear is that votes are coming in from the more liberal ME-01 district first, and then from rural ME-02. Not to say that ME-02 rural will vote wrong, but it might be close.

I can understand when forces prevail and the herd goes the wrong way at the state or federal level. However, what gives me depression is when my neighbors, and I use that term loosely in terms of the 23rd in NY, get taken in by crapolla.

The NY North Country is a tight set of a very few people trying their darnest to get their families thru yet another hard winter. If they can’t tell a friend from a foe, well, maybe I really should sell all I own, reinvest off shore and buy that apartment in Paris and yell to the heavens, “SCREW IT!!!”

Just watching the returns tonight has got me wondering again. Wasn’t it like just a week ago that the big news was that the Republican Party was disliked by so many Americans that it was at it’s lowest ID point in history.

And tonight, as always, they’re at least competitive, if not winning.

What gives??? Is the Republican Party more “liked” than the polling data tells us, or are those damned voting machines “tweaked” with a GOP bias. Enquiring mind(s) wannna know.

Judging by my son, obnoxious is an understatement. He got taken for $130 when he bought a counterfeit scalper ticket for game 1. Watched the game from a bar across the street & ran into another sucker who got taken for $1300.
