Ruining the suspense of the health care vote on a motion to proceed tonight, Mary Landrieu just announced on the Senate floor that she would allow debate to go forward. She said that “Doing nothing is not an option. Nor is waiting any longer for this debate.”
This leaves just one unknown vote on the Democratic side – Arkansas’ Blanche Lincoln. At the same time that she is making her decision, a large free health care clinic is underway in Little Rock, with thousands of her constituents who cannot get care through the current system.
I don’t think Harry Reid would hold this vote if Lincoln was a no.

So has everybody’s favorite consciencious objector Joe Lieberman promised to vote “yea”?
I think one would have to be a big fan of suspense dramas to believe any of the 4 will actually block the final vote. This cake’s baked.
On this vote, yes. Tonight is a done deal at this point.
