I’ve got to go. Here’s what you need to know:

• The Rules Committee markup starts at 10am ET tomorrow. I wouldn’t totally expect something Stupak-related to jump in there at the last minute – whatever the deal is would probably have to take the form of a future guarantee. The procedural hurdles seem too large.

• Bart Stupak has a press conference scheduled tomorrow morning. We’ll know what we need to know from that.

• The President meets with the House caucus at 2:45pm ET tomorrow. Harry Reid will be on hand. The Senate doesn’t want to release the memo intended to prove that they will pass the reconciliation sidecar, but that basically confirms that there is one. I imagine Reid will bring it with him.

• Bob Etheridge is a yes, Heath Shuler a no, blah blah. If you’ve been following along here you already knew that.

• Politico won the afternoon, I didn’t pay any attention to Memogate and I feel like a better person for it. More here.

• The student loan piece in the bill has really been slashed:

But the amount going to education spending and aid for college students is far less than the Obama administration had hoped, largely because the savings from the switch to direct federal lending is now estimated to be $61 billion, rather than $87 billion.

In addition, $9 billion of the savings would be used to offset the costs of the health care overhaul proposed by the Democrats — an amount that lets the health care proposal meet requirements for the package to go through the budget-reconciliation process.

On top of that, $10 billion of the savings would go to deficit reduction.

Much more than I expected to offset and reduce the deficit. Some of the best parts of SAFRA have been wiped out. Historically black and minority-service colleges still receive $2.5 billion under the bill, though.

• Orrin Hatch trying to scare House Democrats about reconciliation changes.

• Arizona drops their CHIP program. California almost did this last year. If the funding isn’t there in the states, and they refuse to raise the revenue, you’ll see more of this. Awful.

• This explanation for the achievement of health care – not helping!

• Paul Broun casually mentions “the war of Yankee aggression” on the House floor.
