There are reports of a shooting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). A shooter opened fire and is apparently “down” and a high powered rifle secured.
Arrival and departure roads are closed and terminals have been evacuated.

UPDATE 3: One of those shot has died, a TSA Agent. The suspect is in custody.
A TSA officer has been killed and two others injured in a shooting today at Los Angeles International Airport, according to law enforcement. A suspect is in custody, police tell ABC News.
Police were trying to determine whether there could be a second gunman. The shooting took place inTerminal 3, TSA confirmed to ABC. The shooting sent hundreds of passengers streaming out of the terminal with many fleeing onto the airport runway. One of the shooting victims was a TSA officer who died of his wounds. Two other people were injured.
UPDATE 4: At a press conference officials say they believe it was a lone shooter and not part of a larger attack. They have only one suspect at this time, who is in custody. There was a “officer involved shooting” to neutralize the suspect. The FBI will lead the investigation into the incident.
Officials could neither confirm or deny if the shooter was a federal employee.
