Guess we now know how much money it costs to put lipstick on a pitbull

WHO was the “elitist”, Sarah? But I guess ya gotta look good when you’re running the Senate and shakin’ things up, also… this delicious “campaign comment from KO last night addresses Palin’s role as Veep, were she to get the job:

BTW, do you think PETA is gonna give her a pass on this red leather jacket? Time will tell.

The McCain campaign sees the reporting or interest in this story, even at this time of incredible economic crisis nationally and worldwide, as frivolous. After all, they’re going to donate these thousands of dollars to charity, for heaven’s sake! Sheesh!

WASHINGTON – John McCain’s presidential campaign said thousands of dollars worth of clothing purchased by the Republican Party for running mate Sarah Palin will go to a “charitable purpose” after the campaign.

The Republican National Committee spent about $150,000 on clothing, hair styling, makeup and other “campaign accessories” in September for the McCain campaign after Palin, the governor of Alaska, joined the ticket.

“With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it’s remarkable that we’re spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses,” said McCain spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt, who has been traveling with Palin. “It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign.”

So there, you pesky people! Stop asking me about unimportant matters and go back to your crayons.

Is it just me, or are you reading this also completely sick and tired of the condescending and frequently scolding tone of this campaign? It galls me that the American public and media, when asking legitimate questions, are continually spoken to as if we were all small, disruly and ill-mannered children…

Think the folks who have donating to the RNC are gonna be happy about this, as these shopping sprees were financed by the RNC and not the McCain campaign?

Let’s ask the now infamous “Joe The Plumber” what he thinks of Sarah Palin’s latest frocks…

And does anyone else remember the $400 John Edwards haircut squeals from the Repugs?? A frigging bargain when compared to the overhaul, styling and upkeep of Sarah Palin!
